Thirteenth Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference
Australia, 06 - 08 October 2009

Communiqué
The 13th Pacific Immigration Directors Conference (PIDC) meeting was convened in Sydney, Australia on 6th-8th October 2009. The theme of the conference was “Focus on the Future”. Forty seven delegates from Samoa (Chair), Australia (hosts), Cook Islands, Fiji, Federated States of Micronesia, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and representatives from the Oceania Customs Organisation, Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police, Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, the International Organization for Migration, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the Canada Border Services Agency attended the three day meeting.

Twelfth Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference
Australia, 16 - 17 September 2008

Communiqué
The 12th Pacific Immigration Directors Conference (PIDC) meeting was convened in Brisbane, Australia on 16-18 September. Forty delegates from Samoa (Chair), Australia (hosts), Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and representatives from the Oceania Customs Organisation, Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police, Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, the International Organization for Migration, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Canadian Border Services and United States Customs and Border Protection attended the three day meeting.

Eleventh Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference
Samoa, 15 August - 17 August 2007

Communiqué
The 11th Pacific Immigration Directors’ Conference (PIDC) was convened in Apia, Samoa, from the 15th August to the 17th August 2007. Twenty-four participants from 16 countries attended the Conference. Members were represented from: Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji Islands, French Polynesia, Kiribati, the Republic of Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, the Kingdom of Tonga, and Vanuatu. In addition, participating observers included the: Canadian Border Services Agency, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO), Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police Secretariat (PICP), the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees(UNHCR).

Tenth Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference                                     
New Zealand, 17 October - 19 October 2006

Communiqué
The 10th Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference (PIDC) was convened in Wellington, New Zealand, at the Te Papa Tongarewa Museum from the 17th October to the 19th October 2006. Thirty-eight participants from 17 countries attended the Conference including: American Samoa, Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji Islands, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, The Kingdom of Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.  Participating Observers included: Anti-Money Laundering Assistance Team (AMLAT), Inter-Governmental Asia Pacific Consultations on Refugees, Displaced Persons and Migrants (APC Secretariat), Canada Border Services, International Organization for Migration (IOM), Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO), Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police (PICP), Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) and the Secretariat of the Pacific Community's Regional Maritime Programme (SPC - RMP).

Nineth Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference
Republic of Fiji, 30 August - 1 September 2005

Communiqué
The Nineth Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference (PIDC) was convened in Nadi, the Republic of Fiji, at the Tanoa International Hotel from the 30th August to the 01st September 2005. Thirty-five participants from 18 countries attended the Conference including: American Samoa, Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji Islands, French Polynesia, Kiribati, New  Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Norfolk Island, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, The Kingdom of Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. Participating Observers included: Australian Federal Police (AFP), Inter-Governmental Asia Pacific Consultations on Refugees, Displaced Persons and Migrants (APC Secretariat), New Zealand Police, Canada Border Services, Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS), Pacific Transnational Crime Coordination Centre (PTCCC), International Organization for Migration (IOM), Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO), Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police (PICP), South pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO), and The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).

Republic of Palau, 8 - 10 September 2004

Communiqué
The Eighth Pacific Immigration Directors Conference (PIDC) was convened in the Republic of Palau, from the 8th to the 10th September 2004. There were thirty-eight participants from seventeen countries at the Conference. Delegates from American Samoa, Australia, Cook Islands, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji Islands, Kiribati, New Zealand, Niue, Norfolk Island, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, The Kingdom of Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu attended the Conference along with observers from Australian Federal Police (AFP), Inter-Governmental Asia Pacific Consultations on Refugees, Displaced Persons and Migrants (APC Secretariat), Canadian Immigration, Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, Pacific Translational Crime Coordination Centre (PTCCC), International Organisation for Migration (IOM), Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO), South Pacific Chiefs of Police Conference (SPCPC), and The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).

Seventh Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference
Nuku'alofa, Kingdom of Tonga, 10 - 12 September 2003

Communiqué
The Seventh Pacific Immigration Directors Conference (PIDC) was convened in the Kingdom of Tonga, from 10-12 September 2003.

There were forty-five participants at the Conference. Delegates from American Samoa, Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji Islands, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, New Zealand, Niue, Norfolk Island, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, the Kingdom of Tonga (Tonga), Tuvalu and Vanuatu attended the Conference along with observers from Australian Federal Police (AFP), APC Secretariat, Canadian Immigration, Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, International Organisation for Migration (IOM), Tonga Customs, Tonga Police, Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO), South Pacific Chiefs of Police Conference (SPCPC), and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Three private sector firms, the Canadian Bank Note Company, Express Electronics and Informatics made commercial presentations.

Sixth Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference
Niue, 17 - 19 September 2002

Communiqué
The Sixth Pacific Immigration Directors Conference (PIDC) was convened in Niue, from 17-19 September 2002. There were twenty-seven participants at the Conference. Delegates from American Samoa, Australia, Fiji Islands, New Zealand, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, the Kingdom of Tonga (Tonga), Tuvalu and Vanuatu attended the Conference along with observers from Canadian Immigration, East Timor, New Zealand Police, Niue Customs, Niue Police, Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO), South Pacific Chiefs of Police Conference (SPCPC), Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
