Annual Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference
The Annual Pacific Immigration Directors' Conference takes place from May to June period each year. The venue of the Conference rotates around Member countries and territories. The 2016 Conference was held in Majuro, the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
New Zealand Immigration will be hosting the 2017 Annual Conference from 19 - 23 June in Apia, Samoa. This Conference will be PIDCs' inaugural meeting as a legal entity status.
The Annual Conference provides an opportunity for Members to discuss the challenges and issues faced by Members including the strategic direction of the organization. It also provides an opportunity for Members and other regional and international partners to share their knowledge and experiences.
The first PIDC Conference was held in 1996 in Suva, Fiji. Conference communiqués Communiques are available from 2002 to 2016.
